Elvis Wall of Fame
The Elvis Wall of Fame was opened in 1995, by the late Parkes Mayor Cr. Robert Wilson
OAM.
Each year a significant pioneer of Australian Music is recognised on the Elvis Wall of Fame, by the Festival. In 2011 Barry Crocker OAM joined many Australian greats on the wall such as Dinah Lee, Billy Thorpe, Normie Rowe and Little Patty.
Join an Australian entertainment legend and festival fanatics in recognising Australia’s top performers at the Parkes Elvis Wall of Fame. The unveiling of the wall is an opportunity to mark the start of the festival with something Parkes knows how to do; honour Music’s greats! This event is from 3pm, Wednesday the 11th January, 2012 at Kelly Reserve, Newell Highway Parkes.
